Heat Shield Gel

Heatshield Gel is a natural choice for customers who weld, braze or solder in proximity to materials or coatings that are sensitive to heat.
Heatshield Gel is supplied in a 907ml-trigger spray bottle. When applied to a solid material, Heatshield Gel will act as a heat shrink, to protect the surface under the gel from damage caused by heat transfer from welding, brazing or soldering operations.
Heatshield Gel will help to prevent damage to adjacent areas when welding repair sections into rust damaged vehicles, reduce or prevent heat distortion when welding new panels, or panel sections, and will prevent welding splatter adhering to surfaces.
Heatshield Gel will also rapidly cool hot surfaces when sprayed directly onto them, as well as preventing many flammable materials from igniting when a flame or heat is applied to them.
Heatshield Gel will reduce or prevent heat distortion of plastic when plastic welding is undertaken.
